Bath Mixers

Select a bath mixer to suit the bath’s tap position and the planned water connections. Compare the exact mounting arrangement, spout projection, control layout and finish. For a wall-mounted bath mixer, check the connection centres and any specified offset fittings against the existing plumbing. Confirm which spout, handshower or installation components belong to the selected model before requesting a quote.

Compare complete sets and individual mixer fittings

A wall-mounted bath mixer can bring the controls and bath outlet together, but the supplied accessories differ between listings. The Blutide Mixed Solid example specifies a single lever, S-connections and cover plates, with a wall bracket, hand shower and hose. The Cobra Seine example is explicitly described without a hand shower. Use those details to build an accurate component list, then compare how the control shape and outlet position will work in your bathing area.

Plan the working space around the bath

Check that the controls can be reached from the intended position and that a hose, where fitted, has a practical route without obstructing entry to the bath. Review the manufacturer’s supply requirements before treating a replacement as a straightforward swap. Leave access to the connections and any serviceable parts in accordance with the installation instructions. When coordinating finishes, retain the exact range and finish references so future accessories and replacement components can be identified more accurately.

What measurements matter when replacing a wall-mounted bath mixer?

Check the existing connection centres, thread specification and position above the bath. Compare the new mixer’s projection and outlet position with the bath rim. Have your installer confirm the supplier drawing rather than relying on the visible shape of the old tap.

Does every bath mixer include a handshower?

Check the exact listing and model reference for included components. A mixer, handshower, hose and holder may be listed as a set or as separate items. Include the required components in your quote so their compatibility can be checked together.
