Built-in, corner and skirted baths

Built-in baths are intended for a surrounding installation, so plan the support, finishing surface and maintenance access together. Corner baths use a corner layout; check the full footprint and orientation instead of assuming that every corner model saves space. Skirted baths use an exterior panel or skirt, with the exact supplied panels and access arrangements depending on the model.

Freestanding baths and shower baths

Freestanding baths have a visible exterior and need a considered position for the waste and water outlet. Allow room for access and cleaning around the bath. Shower baths combine bathing and showering in one area; check the standing area and the compatibility of the chosen screen or enclosure.

Water outlets and handshowers

Bath spouts deliver water into the bath and must be paired with suitable controls. Handshowers provide a movable spray option; check whether the hose, outlet and holder are included. Coordinate spout reach, mounting height and the bath rim so the selected components work together.
