Urinals

Compare urinals and urinal dividers as separate parts of a washroom layout. The range includes stainless steel bowl urinals, white sanitaryware models and a waterless urinal, as well as frosted-glass and ceramic partitions. Check the individual listing to see whether you are choosing a fixture or a divider.

Select the fixture and flushing arrangement

The Kwikot 330 mm top-entry bowl urinal is a stainless steel example supplied with a spreader, outlet and urinal waste fitting. A Duravit DuraStyle waterless model follows a different arrangement and lists an air trap. Choose the fixture type before specifying controls or replacement parts. A proposed change between flushing and waterless systems should be reviewed against the existing drainage and the selected manufacturer’s service requirements, rather than treated as a like-for-like swap.

Plan a coordinated row of fixtures

Set out each urinal and divider together on the washroom elevation. The Finestra UD730 examples have a 730 × 400 mm frosted-glass panel with different clamp finishes, while the Duravit Starck 3 partition is ceramic. Their fixing details should be checked separately. Leave access to valves, traps and mounting points for the selected design. Record the fixture and control model numbers, and use the manufacturer’s stated cleaning and replacement-part guidance for ongoing maintenance.

What connections should I check for a urinal?

Match the product’s inlet position, outlet arrangement and mounting dimensions to the planned plumbing. For a flushing model, confirm the required flush valve, pipework and supplied waste components. A waterless model needs its own supplier-specified installation and maintenance checks.

What should I measure for a urinal divider?

Compare height, projection and the fixing positions shown on the supplier drawing. Allow for the urinal’s projection and the space between fixtures. Confirm the partition material and included brackets or clamps, then have the wall and fixing arrangement assessed by your installer.
