Bath Screens

Choose a bath screen to suit the bath rim, adjoining wall and shower-over-bath arrangement. The range includes Finestra fixed and curved designs in different glass thicknesses and frame finishes. Compare the exact drawing and installation requirements before choosing a screen by its appearance alone.

Compare the actual screen designs

Finestra Kobe fixed screens list 1400 × 800 × 6 mm dimensions in black/clear, matt white/clear and silver/clear. The Miki fixed screen lists 900 × 1400 × 8 mm, while the Tokyo curved screen lists 1400 × 709 × 6 mm. Because dimension order differs between listings, use the product drawing to identify height and width. A curved outline or different glass thickness should be considered with the intended bath layout.

Plan the screen with the shower position

Look at the shower outlet, standing area and open end of the bath when assessing the panel’s coverage. Check that taps can be reached comfortably and that the screen will not obstruct normal entry to the bath. Ask the installer to resolve the wall profile and lower seal against the finished bath rim. Keep these junctions accessible for cleaning, and retain the screen code when checking compatible seals or replacement components.

How do I check whether a bath screen will fit?

Measure the bath rim and adjoining finished wall, then compare the screen’s height, width and mounting drawing. Check the shape and usable flat area of the rim at the screen position. Confirm the required handing and any adjustment allowance for the exact bath shower screen.

How do fixed and folding bath screens differ in use?

A fixed bath screen keeps its panel in one position, while a folding design needs space for its panels to move. Check access to the taps, cleaning reach and the opening path beside the bath. Confirm the selected model’s seals, mounting components and suitability for the bath before ordering.
