Bathroom renovation checklist: build a complete product quote

A useful bathroom quote starts with a product list for the whole room. Listing the visible fittings and their supporting components together helps you compare alternatives and spot questions before you order.

Start with the room plan

Record what you are keeping and what you are replacing. Keep room measurements, photographs and existing product references together. If the plumbing layout will change, discuss that with your installer before finalising the product selection.

Build the basin and vanity selection

Compare bathroom basins and vanities using their complete dimensions and installation requirements. Record whether the basin is included with the vanity. Add the exact basin mixer, waste and trap you intend to use, and confirm that the combination is suitable.

List the bath and shower components

For a bath, check the dimensions, access route and required fittings. For showers, distinguish complete sets from individual components. Ask your installer to confirm the required components and compatibility for the specific models.

Record the exact finish

Write the manufacturer’s finish name next to every product. Similar colour descriptions do not guarantee an exact visual match between brands or ranges. Check your preferred combination before committing to several items.

Compare quotations line by line

Use the same quantities and model references when comparing alternatives. Check whether the quoted selection includes all the components you requested. Ask for delivery charges, availability and timing to be confirmed, and separate product costs from installation work.

Keep these details with your enquiry

  • Product names or references and quantities
  • Preferred finishes and acceptable alternatives
  • Room and fitting measurements
  • Items to retain from the existing bathroom
  • Delivery location and required timing
  • Any compatibility questions for your installer or supplier

Request your Bathroom Shop quote

Browse the relevant categories and add the products you want to your quote list. Review the quantities, then include your project details when submitting the enquiry. Keep the written quotation with the confirmed product information so your installer works from the same selection.
